Donné works with a variety of media to showcase her work, one being performance and elements of mixed media added to plywood. For her, art is seen as a journey, and Donné is becoming bolder with tackling various unspoken emotions, moods and themes as a Caribbean woman.

Donné has graduated from discussing in a symbolic way, using only colour contrast and symbolic imagery, to becoming a little more outspoken. Now you can visually see that it is her within her work, depicted in an expressive way with harsh brush strokes. Donné is inspired by embracing the surreal moment; for her art is therapy.
